As our family and closest friends already know, Kale and I have already tied the knot. Kale and I have been living together for over two years. Being that Sharin already has two children we really didn't push "the right thing to do". We thought to ourselves that the option of doing the right thing in the Lord's eyes was already out the window. Then, Kale and I decided before our wedding that we would take a preparing for marriage class through our church. During the duration of the class we learned about God's Equation for Marriage. We went through eight weeks of learning the Bible and eachother. The class sections were God's Purpose for marriage, God's Equation for Marriage, God's roles in Marriage, Roles and Responsibilities, Authentic Communication, Money, Keys to a Lifelong Marriage and the last section, title I will omit, caught us off guard. The guilt set in long before the start of this particular section. We realized that past mistakes don't have any bearing on what we do with our lives TODAY. Even if we didn't Honor the Lord in the past doesn't mean that we can't change that for ourselves now. So, we decided on a date which was December 16, 2010 and went ahead and made things right. We couldn't possibly please everyone in our family by having a small gathering or what-not and it wasn't really our goal at the time. We just wanted to get right with the Lord above. So we did. And not only did we honor him, but we also honored our parents as well. We couldn't be happier with our decision.
